As part of their preparations for this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco, Nigeria, the reigning champions and 10-time titleholders, will compete against Cameroon in two friendly matches in Yaoundé during the FIFA Women’s International Window from February 24 to March 7, 2026.
The Super Falcons and the Indomitable Lionesses are set to meet in the Cameroonian capital on Saturday, February 28, and again on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
It’s worth noting that the two teams faced each other in a friendly match before last year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, also held in Morocco, where the Falcons emerged victorious with a 2-0 win at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta.
General Secretary of the NFF, Mohammed Sanusi, stated: “We have finalized all arrangements for the two friendly matches in collaboration with our counterparts at FECAFOOT in Cameroon.
