Businessman and socialite, Isaac Fayose has criticized Sophia Momodu, labeling her as “very toxic” during her ongoing custody conflict with Afrobeats artist Davido.
In response to the child custody battle between the former couple, Fayose expressed his views on the widely discussed court proceedings without reservation.
He stated that “Sophia Momodu is one of the most toxic baby mamas anyone could encounter. You wouldn’t want a baby mama like her—she’s toxic. How can you go to court and bring up a man’s deceased child?
“There are many fathers out there who have children and avoid their responsibilities. Some are publicly called out daily and still don’t pay for their kids’ education. Yet, Sophia’s daughter, Imade, has everything she needs. Davido is a very responsible father.”
Fayose further commended Davido, asserting that the singer has consistently demonstrated care and responsibility toward his daughter despite the ongoing legal issues.
He pointed out that while many fathers fail to fulfill their obligations, Davido has remained involved and supportive.

Additionally, he suggested that Davido was fortunate not to have married Sophia, claiming it could have had a detrimental impact on his career.
“Davido, I’m glad you didn’t marry Sophia. She would have ruined your life and career. Very toxic,” he remarked.
Fayose also urged the Adeleke family to disregard the drama and let the legal process unfold.
As the court proceedings continue, social media remains split, with some praising Fayose’s defense of Davido, while others are calling for caution and fairness before making judgments.
