Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has directed commissioners and heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to present detailed scorecards of their stewardship, including achievements recorded in 2025 and projections for 2026.
The governor stressed that all plans and programmes must align strictly with the agenda of his administration.
The directive was issued on Monday during the opening of a two-week ministerial briefing at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Uyo, according to a statement released Tuesday by the Government House Press Unit.
Gov. Eno said the briefing, scheduled to run from January 12 to January 21, would feature daily presentations from members of the State Executive Council and heads of MDAs.
“From today, the 12th of January to about the 21st, we will be holding daily ministerial briefing sessions, taking presentations from members of the executive council, ministries, departments, and agencies,” the governor said.
“I urge council members to use this opportunity to give a full account of their ministries, including staff strength, achievements in 2025, and plans for 2026, not only as captured in the budget, but in alignment with the ARISE Agenda.”
He described 2026 as a year of expansion and consolidation, noting that the administration had zero tolerance for excuses.

“This will be a busy year of expansion and growth, building on the work we have done over the past two and a half years. We have zero tolerance for excuses; this is the year for action and results,” he added.
The governor explained that the briefing was convened to frontload the state’s priorities and set a clear agenda for effective service delivery, especially as governance activities would overlap with political engagements during the year.
He also urged members of the executive council to mobilise their constituents to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise and the electronic registration of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prince Enobong Uwah, commended Gov. Eno for his leadership style and described the briefing initiative as timely and strategic, assuring that council members were prepared to deliver.
Unveiling the briefing schedule, the Executive Assistant and Chief Delivery Adviser, Mr. Aniefiok Johnson, disclosed that the presentations would commence immediately, starting with the Ministry of Works and the Fire Service.
