Former winner of Big Brother Naija, Phyna, has expressed her openness to reconciling with Afrobeats star Davido, indicating that she would be willing to collaborate with him if the chance arises.
She shared her thoughts during a recent livestream.
Phyna mentioned that she is prepared to apologize to the singer but emphasized that she first wants to gain clarity on the events that led to their conflict and how Davido interpreted the comment that ignited the issue.
The disagreement between Davido and Phyna began in late 2023 when the singer seemed to endorse a post on X (formerly Twitter) that questioned Phyna’s identity.
This action was widely seen as dismissive and led to a backlash from Phyna and her supporters, who accused Davido of bullying and arrogance.
Reality TV star Tacha also joined in at the time, further amplifying the criticism.

Phyna recently took to social media to show a change in her attitude and a willingness to resolve the misunderstanding, as long as there is clarity on what caused the fallout initially.
She stated, in part: “If I have the chance to collaborate with Davido, I will take it. I’m ready to apologize to him, but before that, I want to understand what really happened.
“He needs to explain why he liked that comment that caused the issue.”
