Davido celebrated his 33rd birthday with an energetic concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where he paid tribute to his late mother, Veronica, who died of cardiac arrest when he was only 10, and his son Ifeanyi, who tragically drowned at the age of three in 2022.

The concert, part of his ongoing 5ive Alive Tour, took place before a sold-out crowd at the 21,000-seat venue and was filled with music, laughter, and emotional toasts.

The event brought together notable figures from his life, including his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, uncle and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, sister Sharon Adeleke, cousins, Nike and Folashade Adeleke, wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke, manager Asa, and longtime collaborator DJ ECool.

His brother referred to him as a living legend, while his friend, Chief Priest generously gave away millions of naira to fans.

The evening celebrated Davido’s journey from releasing his first song at 17 to achieving global recognition in Afrobeats, all while balancing family life with his newborn twins and cherishing memories amid his success.

He reflected on his career, stating, “I dropped my first song when I was 17, and now I’m 33. This year is one of my best years ever; I got married to the most beautiful woman and we had our babies.”

Davido attributed much of his happiness to his recent marriage to Chioma and the birth of their twins.

He also excited fans by revealing updates on his sixth studio album, just seven months after the release of his fifth project, 5ive, on April 18.
