Nigerian influencer and model Diana Eneje has reacted to a shocking incident in her home involving a painter who allegedly drank her luxury champagne worth ₦950,000, an incident now widely referred to as the “Diana 950k champagne” saga on social media.
In a lengthy Snapchat outburst, Diana narrated how one of the painters working in her residence opened a three-year-old bottle of Ace of Spades simply because he came to paint.
She described the act as “insane,” explaining that the painter went through the entire process, removing the wrap, uncaging the cork and popping the bottle, “as though he owned it.”
Expressing her shock and frustration, she said:
“If I want to start suing people, I would have a very long file. I don’t know why it’s always the mad people on my projects, and the service has been paid for.”

The drama deepened when she later discovered that the painter hid the remaining champagne inside her wardrobe. She only noticed it when she opened the closet and the leftover drink spilled onto her bag.
Diana stressed that payment for the painting service had already been completed, insisting that the company’s supervisors should handle the situation since she only interacts with them and not the individual painters.
The “Diana 950k champagne” controversy has since triggered conversations online about boundaries, professionalism and accountability in home service jobs.
