The Isoko North Local Government Council, under the leadership of Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has dissolved its Revenue Committee and inaugurated an interim body to oversee revenue operations within the council area. The decision was reached during the council’s executive meeting held on November 5, 2025.
Following the dissolution, a new interim committee was formally inaugurated by the Executive Chairman. The team is headed by Engr. Thomas Akpoedafe, Supervisor for Agriculture and Community Development, with Comr. Joshua Alebe, Supervisor for Environment, Comr. Erero Oloku, Special Adviser to the Chairman, and Mr. Anote Friday serving as members, while Mr. Raphael Obosoh was appointed secretary.
In a related move, the Executive Council also established an Audit Committee to investigate the activities of the dissolved Revenue Committee. The Audit Committee will be chaired by Sir (Barr.) Vote Umukoro, with Barr. Isaiah Omoyibo, Mrs. Peace Anigbere, and Mr. Charles Ugbodume, who will serve as secretary, as members.

Meanwhile, members of the Executive Council commended the council chairman, Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba, for his proactive leadership and dedication to the development of Isoko North through transparent and prudent management of resources. They noted that his administration continues to align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, focused on delivering tangible development to the people of Delta State.
