The MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) says the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has cancelled the planned maintenance power outage in Enugu scheduled from Oct. 22 to Oct. 31, 2025.
This is contained in a statement issued by Head, Communications of MainPower, Mr Emeka Ezeh, in Enugu on Friday.
It would be recalled that the TCN had announced through MainPower DisCo that the planned power outage was originally scheduled from Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, to Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 between 9a.m. and 5p.m. daily.
Ezeh noted that the “cancellation of the exercise as communicated by the TCN is due to unforeseen technical constraints”.
