The police have sealed all entry points into the Centra District of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to prevent protesters under the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow banner organized by the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore.
The shut down of entry points into the city centre has resulted in the non- movement of both human and vehicular traffic.

On the popular Nyanya route, motorists and workers who left their homes as early as 6 am have been stuck in traffic for hours.
