They include four patrol gunboats, four mine-resistant ambush protection, and four armoured gun-trucks, among others.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the vehicles today, Gov. Kefas said he is investing in the security sector to completely wipe out insecurity in the state.

He assured that his administration will build a strong intelligence network, dominate the airspace, waterways, and all areas of human activities.

Gov. Kefas also stressed that all security agencies will be engaged, as well as relevant stakeholders, to keep all nooks and crannies of the state safe and secure for human activities.

He said the governor has spent a lot of resources on providing logistics and support to the security agencies in the state.

The commissioning ceremony was witnessed by the Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, John Bonzena and the Chief of Defence Operations, Nigeria Army, Major General Emeka Onumajuru, the 6 Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa and other senior government officials from the state.
