The oath of office, administered at the multipurpose hall of the Government House, was conducted by Chief Judge Kashim Zanna, represented by Justice Haruna Mshelia.

Highlighting the significance of local governments in the overall development strategy, Zulum called for increased attention to combat poverty, unemployment, and insecurity at the grassroots level.

Addressing the Special Advisers, Zulum emphasized the need for impartial advice, devoid of personal interests, and underscored their role as representatives of the entire state.

In their remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, the Head of Service, and the Commissioner for Local Government and Emirates Affairs encouraged the officials to uphold patriotism, dedication, sincerity, and genuine commitment to the welfare of the people.

Tukur Digira, delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the sworn-in officials, expressed gratitude to Governor Zulum for the opportunity to serve and assured him of their commitment to making a positive impact on the people of Borno State.
