In the spirit of the festive season, Elomaz Foundation, a prominent non-governmental organization based in Oleh, Delta State, has extended its generosity to orphanages across the Isoko Nation. Ahead of the Christmas celebration, the Foundation donated food items and toiletries worth millions of naira to uplift vulnerable children and spread holiday cheer.
The donated items included essential goods such as bags of rice, garri, cartons of Milo, tin tomatoes, peak milk, salt, groundnut oil, and other necessities. These provisions were delivered to Aruka Peace Foundation International in Ozoro, Children Revolutionary Foundation in Irri, and Ugholeh Foundation in Oleh, ensuring that the festive season would be a memorable one for the orphans.
During the donation event on Monday, the Secretary of Elomaz Foundation, Mrs. Peace Akalekor, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to humanitarian causes. She described the initiative as part of the Foundation’s corporate social responsibility to support the less privileged, particularly orphans, whom she identified as one of the most vulnerable groups in society.

Mrs. Akalekor highlighted that the donations were motivated purely by a desire to share love and give back to the community. She also unveiled the Foundation’s plans to launch several impactful projects in 2024, including awarding scholarships to top-performing students in Isoko schools under the Elomaz Foundation Students Assistance Scheme. The Foundation is also preparing to sponsor over 1,000 students for the JAMB examinations, demonstrating its dedication to education and youth empowerment.
She emphasized that all these initiatives are solely funded by the Chairman of the Foundation, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, and clarified that the projects are not politically motivated. “This is a reflection of his passion for humanitarian service,” she added.
The heartfelt gesture was met with gratitude by the beneficiaries. Mr. Daniel Egbage, who represented Mrs. Queen James of Ugholeh Orphanage, Prophet Great Abraham of Children Revolutionary Foundation, and Rev. Dr. Mrs. Agbaka Peace of Aruka Peace Foundation International, expressed their appreciation for the Foundation’s support. They prayed for divine blessings and protection for Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and his family, acknowledging the profound impact of the Foundation’s efforts.
