“It is not news that the African Youths with business initiatives have always suffered setbacks due to lack of capital funding.
“In the light of the foregoing, I call on the Afro Arab Youth Council to set up the Afro Arab Youth Business Fund (AAYBF), the fund shall be dedicated to supporting youths with genuine business initiatives to benefit and empower them.
“The fund can be sourced from donor agencies or member nations may be called upon to contribute financially to the fund.
“Selected young persons in Africa and the Arab Nations can then receive these funds in form of grants annually at every congress and return to their various countries to fund their businesses, grow and contribute to the local economy,” the statement read in part.
