Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has firmly denied claims that he is the biological father of a teenage girl who recently sought a DNA test to establish her paternity.
The singer said he has never had any personal or romantic relationship with the girl’s mother, stressing that his only contact with both mother and child occurred during the DNA testing process initiated to resolve the allegation.
According to Davido, a total of five DNA tests were conducted at different medical facilities to ensure transparency and credibility. He disclosed that he personally selected three of the hospitals, while the girl and her mother chose the remaining two.
He stated that all five test results were consistent and confirmed that he is not the biological father of the teenager.

Describing the experience as emotionally exhausting, the award-winning artist accused the girl’s mother of acting improperly in handling the situation. However, he made it clear that he does not blame the teenager, whom he described as innocent in the matter.
“This will be the last time I address this issue,” Davido said, adding that the matter should be regarded as settled based on the medical evidence already presented.
The development comes amid growing public interest and online debate surrounding the paternity claim, which had sparked widespread discussion on social media platforms. Davido’s latest statement appears aimed at bringing a definitive end to the controversy.
