Wizkid made a significant impact with five songs in the year-end top 20, including ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring Brent Faiyaz at No. 7.
He led the Nigerian artists.
Tyla has once again claimed the title of the top U.S. Afrobeats artist for 2025, fueled by hits like ‘Water’ at No. 2 and ‘Push 2 Start’ at No. 3, while MOLIY’s ‘Shake It to the Max (Fly)’ took the top song spot, with Rema at No. 3, Davido at No. 4, and Burna Boy at No. 5.
The charts, which reflect streams, sales, and airplay from late October 2024 to mid-October 2025, showcase the strong presence of Afrobeats among American audiences.
Reactions on X to Wizkid’s appearance on the top 2 chart: @Hermainexcel commented that “many Nigerian artists owe part of their success to Wizkid. Without him, there’s no Davido, no Burna Boy, and the same goes for many others.
“Their rise is connected to him. Wizkid’s influence is the foundation, whether people acknowledge it or not.”
@locked_Lckd remarked: “21 entries? That’s not a discography; that’s a playlist. The man has made the Billboard chart his own.

“While others celebrate a single hit, he’s taking over the entire building. Others visit the chart, but Wizkid is the landlord.”
@Mk_bappa stated that “Wizkid’s dominance needs to be studied. How can one person achieve so much? Wow, congratulations, big wiz.”
@blurry123 noted: “Made in Lagos has sold over 900,000 units in the U.S., making it the best-selling African album.
“His new album, Morayo, has sold 300,000 units and is the biggest Afrobeats album in American history. The man is operating on a different level. The numbers are staggering.”
