Chairman of the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emperor Tenebe, has expressed his elation over the party’s resounding victories in the just concluded bye-elections.
He declared that, “APC understands one language, and that’s winning.”
He made this assertion as the party celebrated its massive wins in the bye-elections in Edo Central Senatorial District and the Ovia Federal Constituency.
In the Edo Central Senatorial bye-election, APC’s Joseph Ikpea emerged victorious, polling an impressive 105,129 votes to defeat his closest opponent, PDP’s Joe Okojie, who secured 15,146 votes.

Similarly, in the Ovia Federal Constituency bye-election, APC’s Omosede Igbinedion won by a significant margin, garnering 77,053 votes to defeat her closest opponent, Johnny Aikpitanyi, who polled 3,838 votes.
Tenebe’s statement underscores the APC’s commitment to winning and its determination to maintain its dominance in the region.
The party’s victories in these bye-elections are a clear indication of its strength and appeal to the electorate.
