The son of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Jordan Nyesom Wike, has officially been called to the Nigerian bar.
According to reports, Jordan was part of the latest group of legal professionals called to the bar in Abuja on Tuesday.
Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, shared on social media that the former Governor of Rivers State participated in a procession with other members of the Body of Benchers during the Call to Bar ceremony at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.
Olayinka posted a picture with the caption, “Minister Nyesom Wike joined fellow members of the Body of Benchers in a procession at today’s Call to Bar ceremony.
“His son, Jordan, is among those being admitted to the bar today. Happy Dad and Mum! FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, and their son, Jordan, who is being called to the bar today.”
In another development, Wike has expressed confidence in his ability to present his achievements to the people of Abuja whenever necessary.
He stated that it doesn’t matter whether the residents of Abuja appreciate his appearance, emphasizing that he was appointed as FCT minister to work, not for a beauty contest.
The minister made these comments during the launch of the construction of Access Roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in the Mabushi District of Abuja.
