The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has pledged the administration’s commitment to supporting innovative initiatives aimed at improving access to quality healthcare for residents of the territory.
Speaking at the official launch of the Care365 Innovation System in Nigeria on Tuesday, Wike, who was represented by the Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, said the administration would provide the necessary backing to ensure the success of the project in Abuja.
Wike emphasized that the initiative has the potential to bridge healthcare gaps and improve outcomes for communities in the FCT.
“We believe that this innovation, due to its user-friendly interface and seamless virtual consultations, will enhance patient experience and satisfaction,” Wike said.
He described Care365 as a “cutting-edge solution” that demonstrates the power of innovation and collaboration in transforming the healthcare system.
The minister also commended former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), who chairs the Care365 board, as well as other stakeholders who have worked to bring the initiative to the country.

He called on both public and private sector actors to collaborate in ensuring its successful rollout.
Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Care365 Innovation System in Nigeria, Ngozi Odumuko, said the platform was designed as a holistic healthcare innovation.
According to him, Care365 integrates four core components: the Care365 Health Monitoring Kiosk, the Care365 Mobile Clinic, the Care365 Health Hub Telemedicine Mobile and Web App, and a Specialist Doctors Pool.
Odumuko explained that these elements would work together to revolutionize healthcare access and delivery, particularly in underserved and hard-to-reach areas.
The Care365 launch attracted notable dignitaries, including past Nigerian leaders, government officials, private sector representatives, and healthcare professionals, who described the initiative as a potential game-changer for Nigeria’s struggling health system.
