Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike and his allies have reportedly held meeting with Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The meeting it was gathered was to finetune the peace process already in force following the reinstatement of Gov. Fubara after the emergency regime.

The venue of the said meeting was not known as at press time when the news about the meeting spread in town.

However it was learnt that the attendees were made up of only Wike’s foot soldiers in the Rivers crisis.

Among those said to be at the meeting were
Wike, Gov. Fubara, Senator Barry Mpigi,, Magnus Abe, Wilson Ake, George Sekibo, Olaka Nwogu, Felix Nwaeke, Kelechi Nwogu, Martin Amaewhule, Dumle Maol, and Major Jack.

Also said to be present were Chief Ferdinand Alabraba, Chief Sergent Awuse, Chief OCJ Okocha (SAN), Frank Owhor, Ken Chikere, Worgu Boms, Prof. Zacchaeus Adango (SAN), Chief Victor Giadom, Chief Chukwuemeka Aaron, Udi Odum, Emma Deeyah, Chidi Wihioka, Chinyere Igwe, Ikuinyi Ibani, Boma Iyayi, Chief Marcus Nle Eji, Prof. Henry Ogiri, Chief Chukwuemeka Woke, Dr. Sampson Parker, Dr. Fred Kpakol, Chief Felix Obuah, and Chidi Amadi.

Decisions reached at the meeting were not disclosed as at press time, even as observers say the gathering cannot lead to lasting peace in the political firmament of the state for excluding many other critical stakeholders whom the FCT minister has since blacklisted for holding divergent views with the minister on political developments in the state.

According to analysts, the meeting which had only the people who constituted an albatross to the administration of Gov. Fubara was only to nail the coffin on the total conquest and subjugation of the governor.
