The enigma surrounding the recent bestowal of an award to Ruth Adison Adi, Chief Executive Director of Travels & Tours, by the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) has finally been unveiled.
Recognized for her extraordinary accomplishments, our correspondent in Taraba State observed that the distinguished female Chief Executive Director of Travels & Tours was recently honoured with the “Achiever par excellence” award by NANNS.
Shedding light on the motive behind this accolade, Hassan Usman El-Yakub, the National President of the association, stated that the recognition has been deemed essential due to Adison’s substantial contributions to the travel industry.
He said the award, commemorates her “astuteness, ethical standing, unwavering diligence, dedicated sense of duty marked by impartiality, responsibility, and unwavering integrity.”
El-Yakub stated that “Guided by recommendations from the student community and your exceptional accomplishments in your Corporate Social Responsibility, as evidenced by your commendable track record, we are inspired to align ourselves with your ideals. This award is a token of our admiration and acknowledgement of your impactful contributions to the student community.”

She expressed her appreciation for the student body’s recognition. She said, “This award has filled me with immense joy.”

Ruth founded Lexa Travels and Tours in 2019 and nurtured it to become a prominent travel agency, a testament to Adi’s dedication and visionary leadership.
