The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially postponed the Screening Test for its 77 Regular Course, initially scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2025.
This decision follows the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) announcement of a UTME rewrite in selected regions across Nigeria.
In a statement issued by the NDA’s Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Maidawa on Thursday, the Academy explained that the postponement aims to ensure a fair and inclusive process for all prospective candidates.
He explained that the Nigerian Defence Academy remains steadfast in its dedication to maintaining the integrity of its admissions process. Adding that every eligible applicant deserves a level playing field, and this postponement ensures that no candidate is left behind.
The statement reads in part; “The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently announced the rewriting of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by candidates in some parts of the country.
