Wendy Williams is making headlines again as she battles to reclaim her freedom, alleging she has been wrongfully placed under guardianship. The former talk show queen, 60, insists she has been misdiagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and is now challenging the court order that stripped her of control over her life.

Williams, who was recently seen in distress at a New York assisted living facility, broke her silence in an emotional interview with TMZ. “This system has failed from top to bottom regarding this guardianship and everyone involved. I want my freedom back,” she declared.

In newly released footage, a visibly panicked Williams was seen crying behind a glass window, claiming she is trapped in an abusive guardianship. “I am not allowed to go out. I can call you, but you can’t call me,” she lamented, likening her situation to imprisonment.

The legal battle comes amid shocking allegations involving her son. Williams accused him of misusing her finances without her knowledge. “My son overstepped his boundaries. He was inappropriately using my money without telling me anything,” she revealed, adding another layer of drama to her ongoing struggle.

Fans have been deeply divided over the situation, with many questioning the truth behind her guardianship. Social media is ablaze with theories, from claims that she may have been secretly medicated to suggestions that her diagnosis warrants intervention.

“@luv4annie” pointed out, “She has frontal lobe dementia, specifically Pick’s disease. It affects impulse control and judgment, not memory.”

“@thebrookeash” expressed shock over the allegations against Williams’ son, writing, “I’m saddened that Wendy’s son was stealing money from her. Now she’s lost everything.”

“@Marsali” called for urgent action: “This is heartbreaking. She needs to be reevaluated ASAP, and that guardianship needs to change.”

“@Freedomlan3” raised suspicions: “I’ve had a gut feeling we aren’t getting the whole truth. Was she secretly medicated? It all seemed so sudden.”

With Williams now taking legal steps to fight for her independence, the controversy surrounding her case continues to fuel debates. Is she truly a victim of an unfair system, or is her condition as serious as doctors claim?
