We are committed to dignity of labour, protection of workers rights, says Edo PDP
Edo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee said that it remains “committed to the dignity of labour, the protection of workers’ rights, and the promotion of policies that support fair wages, safe work environments, and improved living conditions for all.”

This was contained in a goodwill message that it forwarded to workers in the state through its Chairman, Tony Aziegbemi, to commemorate this year’s Workers Day.

Going forth, Aziegbemi affirmed: “We acknowledge the sacrifices you make daily and pledge to keep advocating for a system that rewards hard work and fosters economic growth.”

He stressed: “Today, we salute your resilience, dedication, and the invaluable role you play in building a better Edo State. Across every sector—public and private—your tireless efforts continue to drive our state’s development, even in the face of economic challenges and evolving work conditions.”

According to him, “the PDP remains committed to the dignity of labour, the protection of workers’ rights, and the promotion of policies that support fair wages, safe work environments, and improved living conditions for all. We acknowledge the sacrifices you make daily and pledge to keep advocating for a system that rewards hard work and fosters economic growth.”

Finally he submitted, “as we celebrate this special day, may it renew our collective commitment to justice, equity, and progress. Together, we will build a more prosperous Edo State where the labour of our heroes past and present shall never be in vain.”
