Warri Wolves football club in Delta State have dedicated their Matchday Three victory over Bayelsa United in the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwase III.
This is contained in a statement signed by the chief executive officer of Warri Wolves, Etu Moses.
The Seasiders, who beat their close neighbours 3-1 at the Warri Township stadium, also dedicated the victory to Masters’ Place International Church, Synergy Center, Effurun.
The club acknowledges the support the Warri Monarch and Pastor Korede Komaiya of Masters’ Place International Church provided the side in the build-up to the game against Bayelsa United on Monday.

The statement calls on other well-meaning Deltans to emulate the Olu of Warri and Pastor Komaiya to support the Seasiders in their quest to win a promotional ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
The Olu of Warri met with the team last Saturday, during which he offered the team his royal blessings and prayers.
At about the same time, Masters’ Place International Church had carried out some face-lifting renovation works on some critical parts of the Warri City Stadium.
