The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has launched the highly anticipated WAEC Digital Certificate Services System (WAEC Digital Cert) in all its member countries: The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
This announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by the council.
The examination body said the digital certificate services platform is a mobile and web-based application that offers significant advantages to various stakeholders.
“It is designed to provide features that allow users to access, request, verify, or share digital versions of their original certificates.
“Users can also retrieve lost WAEC examination numbers through the system.
“The system is dependable, the authenticity of the certificates is assured, and the cost savings for users are considerable.
