People seeking to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), ahead of the 2023 General Election holding in the country a visit to Eti-Osa local goverment in Lagos State shows there was mammoth crowd at the local government with the number of names written down to be over 700.
The gate of the local government was locked and the crowd waiting for the names written down to be called to enable them to do their registration

Some of the people said they came as early as 5am to write down their names, others said they have been coming for two days and yet to conclude the registration process.
It was also observed that they are some agent at the local government secretly charging some amount of money to help people facilitate their registration fast.
