The former Governor of Edo State and current senator for Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, has rejected claims that a viral video showing him giving a foot massage to a woman in a private jet is genuine.
The brief clip, which started circulating on social media platforms like X, Instagram, and TikTok earlier this week, quickly gained significant attention and sparked strong reactions from Nigerians.
Many critics condemned the perceived display of luxury, especially in light of the country’s ongoing economic difficulties and recent remarks attributed to the senator regarding rising food prices.

Reports identified the woman in the video as a South African lifestyle influencer and adult content creator, further igniting discussions about privilege, accountability, and the behavior of political leaders.
In response to the uproar, Sen. Oshiomhole’s media team firmly denied the video’s authenticity, labeling it a “poorly crafted and edited fake AI video” created by individuals attempting to blackmail him and damage his reputation.
The statement highlighted noticeable technical flaws in the footage, particularly around the six-second mark of the approximately 30-second video, as evidence of digital manipulation and AI involvement.
