South African adult content creator and social media influencer, Leshaan Dagama, has responded to the storm of criticism trailing a viral video allegedly involving Edo North senator, Adams Oshiomhole.
Dagama addressed the controversy on Wednesday, February 4, via her Instagram Stories, after Nigerians flooded her pages with backlash over a clip that appeared to show the former APC national chairman receiving a foot massage from her aboard a private jet.
The video, which quickly spread across social media platforms, drew intense attention not only because of the luxury setting but also due to the political stature of the man at the centre of the footage. Initial reactions were mixed, with some viewers suggesting the woman might be Oshiomhole’s wife, a claim that was soon disputed by others online.

As speculation grew, social media users traced the woman in the video to Dagama’s online profiles, triggering waves of criticism and heated commentary directed at her.
Reacting to the outrage, Dagama did not deny appearing in the video. Instead, she pushed back against her critics, insisting that the anger was misdirected. In a blunt response, she told Nigerians to hold the senator accountable rather than attacking her.
“Your senator is the problem. Go and be angry with him, not me,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Senator Oshiomhole has distanced himself from the controversy. Through his media aide, the lawmaker dismissed the video as fake, claiming it was generated using artificial intelligence and does not reflect any real-life event.
The conflicting claims have further fueled online debate, with Nigerians divided over the authenticity of the footage and the broader questions it raises about public officeholders, private conduct, and the growing use of AI in viral misinformation.
