Social media influencer and activist VeryDarkMan, who previously accused Blord of impersonation, forgery, and unauthorized use of his identity, resulting in Blord’s arrest and his 26-day detention, has revealed the conditions under which he would drop the case.
The accusations involves Blord allegedly using VeryDarkMan’s name and image without consent to promote his business, including on billboards and flyers.
In a livestream, VeryDarkMan stated that he would withdraw the charges if Blord publicly expresses his support for President Bola Tinubu and the ruling APC party.

The announcement was made during a livestream with human rights activist Deji Adeyanju, who has been mediating between the two.
“If he can go online and say that, I will drop the case tonight,” VeryDarkMan declared during the livestream.
Meanwhile, human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has criticized Blord’s detention, arguing that imprisoning him is not a victory.
Sowore emphasized that the legal system should not be used to oppress citizens and has called on VeryDarkMan and his lawyer to step back from the case.
He also pledged to work towards Blord’s release, asserting that justice should not be solely about punishment.
