Social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) has criticized businessman BLord for asserting that he has trademarked the name Ratel, labeling the claim as mere talk and a publicity stunt.
This backlash comes after BLord warned VDM to cease using the name, claiming full ownership of the brand.
In a response on his Instagram, VDM rejected BLord’s assertion, questioning the lack of official documentation to support it.
“First of all, let me show you how foolish many of you are. Where is the certificate? Where is your acceptance letter?” VDM stated.
He expressed disbelief that someone knowledgeable about advertising and branding would make such a serious claim without proper evidence.
“I never thought someone like BLord, who understands advertising and branding, would act so foolishly,” he added.

VDM further clarified that while three names, Ratel, The Ratel, and Ratel NG, were reportedly submitted for trademark registration in September 2024, merely filing does not equate to ownership.
He argued that instead of safeguarding the brand, the controversy has only generated more publicity for Ratel.
The video has since elicited significant reactions online, with many users supporting VDM and urging BLord to present the trademark documents if his claims are legitimate.
For now, a key question remains unanswered. Where is the Ratel trademark certificate?
Until the documents are disclosed, the dispute between VeryDarkMan and BLord seems far from resolved.
