Social Media influencer and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, otherwise known as VeryDarkMan has visited the Community Secondary School, Odioukwu in Ahoada West Local Government Area to access the true condition of the school.
The school had attracted wide attention on social media following the publicity given to its dilapidated condition by a lady, Winnie Miller who made a video of the school and posted it online.
The lady invariably hails from the community where the school is located.
However the local government chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon Eugene Epelle Cheta who also hails from the same community apparently got offended by the lady’s action and reportedly led some hoodlums to assault her, inflicting injuries on her.
The babaric action of the local government chairman had gone viral, attracting condemnations from civil society organizations and other pressure groups who also poured commendations on the lady for her courage to speak up.
The lady’s travails got the attention of Very DarkMan who promptly promised to mobilize his nongovernmental organization to undertake the rebuilding of the dilapidated school.
However it was gathered that Grammy award winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, otherwise known as Burna Boy who hails from Odiokwu had indicated that he would single handedly handle the reconstruction of the school.

A trending online video showed VeryDarkMan interacting with students and teachers of the school when he visited to physically access the condition of the school.
He went round all the classrooms where he saw empty halls without desks and chairs, broken ceilings, windows and doors, among other non existing facilities.
The social Media influencer had informed the students and teachers that his attention was drawn to the school following the altercation between the local government chairman and the lady who raised alarm about the deplorable condition of the school.
He said he had wanted to deploy funds from his NGO to give the school a face-lift, but Burna Boy intervened to take over the responsibility.
Interestingly, the member representing Awelga/Onelga constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Obuzor Victor also hails from Odiokwu, yet neither him nor the local government chairman thought of doing anything to improve facilities in the school.
