Abuja was thrown into excitement after a viral video showed controversial social media personality VDM and his brother cruising through the city in a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck valued at about N400 million. The rare sight of the futuristic electric vehicle on Nigerian roads quickly ignited conversations across social media, with many Nigerians stunned to see the truck in the capital.

The video captured VDM and his brother enjoying their ride in the steel-bodied Cybertruck, a model that has been making headlines globally for its bold design and limited availability. Nigerians online wasted no time reacting, flooding comment sections with admiration, curiosity, and speculation.

A Facebook user, Adebowale Keku, expressed amazement, writing, “These guys have secretly bought a Tesla,” while another, Stephen Black Chukwueto, added simply, “Congratulations, bro.” The excitement was amplified by VDM’s brother, who declared, “They didn’t believe in us,” as he proudly showcased the luxury truck, further fueling the buzz.

The Cybertruck’s appearance comes weeks after Nigerian businesswoman Bo Hairs made headlines as the first Nigerian woman to own the electric truck. With VDM now spotted flaunting his own, the fascination with Tesla’s presence in Nigeria appears to be growing rapidly.

The sighting has not only fueled debates about wealth, luxury, and lifestyle among Nigeria’s elite but also reignited conversations about the future of electric vehicles in the country. For many, seeing a Tesla Cybertruck on Abuja’s streets was both a symbol of prestige and a glimpse into a changing automotive landscape.
