The Institute of Education at the University of Delta, Agbor, has officially commenced registration for the 2024/2025 remedial examinations for all National Certificate in Education (NCE) students. This was confirmed in a circular dated January 7, 2025, signed by Iwekagwu Meshack, the PAR of the Institute of Education.
According to the announcement, students from the 2018/2019 to 2022/2023 academic sessions who are eligible for the remedial examination are required to pay a registration fee of ₦5,000. After registration, they must also pay an additional ₦5,000 for course registration.
The circular further emphasized that all students must settle their current school fees. For the 2022/2023 academic session, students of Delta State origin are to pay ₦43,500, while non-Delta students are required to pay ₦58,500. Additionally, any outstanding fees must be cleared before collecting examination results.

The registration exercise, which began on December 16, 2024, is scheduled to close on January 17, 2025. The remedial examinations are slated to take place from February 3 to February 14, 2025. The university strongly urged all affected students to complete their registrations promptly, as late registration will not be entertained.
This initiative highlights the university’s commitment to ensuring that students have the opportunity to address academic deficiencies while maintaining discipline in their academic processes. Students are encouraged to take this process seriously to avoid disruptions in their academic progression.
