The Unity Cup is set to make an anticipated return in 2026, bringing together four nations Nigeria, Jamaica, Zimbabwe, and India for a vibrant celebration of football and culture in London.
Scheduled to take place from May 26 to 30, the tournament will be hosted at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic FC, marking a return to the competition’s original venue.
The Unity Cup first gained prominence at the same stadium in 2004 and has since evolved into a major event showcasing diaspora communities through sport.
The 2026 edition will kick off with a semi-final clash between Nigeria and Zimbabwe, renewing their recent rivalry from World Cup qualifying encounters.
The second semi-final will see Jamaica face India in a fixture expected to deliver both sporting excitement and cultural spectacle.

Finals day on May 30 will feature a third-place playoff followed by the championship match, alongside entertainment activities including live music performances, international cuisine, and fan experiences celebrating the participating nations.
Organisers say the tournament goes beyond football, aiming to promote unity, diversity, and cultural exchange.
The event will also incorporate community outreach initiatives in partnership with Charlton Athletic’s inclusion and social development programmes.
With Nigeria entering as defending champions after their 2025 triumph, expectations are high for another competitive and culturally rich tournament in London.
