The United Children’s Education Fund (UNICEF), the International Labour Organization (ILO), and Youth Foresight will be hosting a webinar on how youth can adapt their skills to earn income on June 5, 2025.
The webinar is aimed at fostering knowledge exchange, showcasing innovative practices, and strengthening the evidence base for youth-focused programmes.
Host and Policy Lead of JPAL, Lisa Corsetto- Poon stated that “youth foresight through expert-led discussions from diverse constituencies including UN agencies, the World Bank, private sector, civil society, and young practitioners, the series will explore emerging trends, effective approaches, and insights from real-world interventions.
“It will also highlight how robust monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning practices can drive continuous improvement, enhance programme impact, and inform policy decisions.

The series is designed for practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and development partners committed to advancing youth economic empowerment through data-driven strategies.”
The programme will enhance the knowledge and capacity of youth with skills and livelihoods to design, implement, and leverage for improved programme effectiveness and impact.
It will spark discussions on the use of robust data, insights, and research to shape policies, scale successful interventions, and drive systemic change in the youth skills and livelihoods landscape.
The event is open to youth-led organizations, the private sector working with youth groups, policy makers, and practitioners.
Also, attendees will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and insights through moderated questions to the panelists.
