The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has appointment Mr. Francis Nwaze as his senior special assistant on media.
Before his new appointment, Mr. Nweze was the senior legislative aide to the deputy Senate president.
His appointment is with immediate effect according to the statement from chief of staff to the minister.

Nwaze brings extensive experience in public communication and media relations to the role.

Previously, he served as the special assistant on media to Umahi when he was governor of Ebonyi State between 2019 and 2023, and earlier worked as technical assistant on media from 2017 to 2019.
He holds a diploma in journalism, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra State and the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.
