The Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency Forum has backed the defection of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The forum described the governor’s defection as a bold and visionary step with great potential for the people of Delta State.
Gov. Oborevwori, along with the entire PDP structure in Delta State, officially joined the APC on Monday, marking a new chapter in the state’s political landscape.
Chairman of the forum, Olorogun John Oguma, declared the forum’s unwavering support for the governor’s political realignment, calling it a strategic move that promises increased developmental opportunities for Deltans.
“This is a courageous and calculated decision by our governor. It goes beyond party politics, it’s about delivering greater value and unlocking new possibilities for our people.
