The Governor expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of work being carried out on the Igbide-Olomoro and Ughelli-Asaba Road dualisation.

He noted that the MORE Agenda of his administration’s development blueprint, was already yielding tangible results that address the needs and aspirations of Deltans.

Oborevwori said; “I am impressed with the speed and quality of work being delivered. I visited here in March, and the contractors assured me that Sector C1 would be completed by May. From what I am seeing, they are on track. This project will soon be completed.

“We have received a lot of commendations from commuters using this road. It now takes less than two hours to travel from Asaba to Ughelli. This 143-kilometre road is a major achievement, and it’s clear that people are benefiting from it.”

Governor Oborevwori emphasized that the happiness of the people is the ultimate measure of success in governance.

“We are all happy because we were elected to serve and deliver meaningful development. When the people are satisfied, that brings me joy.

“From roads to healthcare and education, our projects are making a real difference in people’s lives and that is what governance is all about,” he said.

He added that the positive feedback spans all three senatorial districts, with citizens praising the quality of roads, schools, health facilities, and youth empowerment programmes.

“This tells us we are on the right track, and it motivates us to do even more,” he said.

Governor Oborevwori reaffirmed that his administration would not relent until every part of the state feels the impact of democracy.

He assured that numerous projects have been completed across the state in preparation for his administration’s second anniversary.

He also restated his commitment to prompt payment of contractors and urged them to accelerate their work, reiterating his determination and desire to deliver more democratic dividends in line with his MORE Agenda and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
