In a recent turn of events, legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba or 2Face, has publicly apologised to his wife, Natasha Idibia, his ex-wife, Annie Macurley, and his children after being bashed online following his controversial remarks regarding infidelity.
The apology comes in the wake of an interview on the Mzansi podcast hosted by media personality, Nedu, where 2Face made a provocative assertion about male fidelity.
Tuface, during the discussion, expressed a belief that it is inherently difficult for men to remain sexually committed to one woman.
His exact words were “I have said this before and I got into trouble for it, but I don’t care about that. A man is not built to sexually be with just one woman.
“A man can give his heart and love to one woman, but it’s impossible for a man to remain sexually faithful to just her.”

The comments sparked a backlash on social media, with many interpreting his statements as a reinforcement of negative stereotypes about masculinity and fidelity.
Given 2Face’s history of relationship challenges and public scrutiny, his remarks prompted a wave of outrage and debate among fans and critics alike.
In light of this controversy, 2Face issued a heartfelt apology, recognising the potential harm his words could cause, particularly to his wife and family.
He acknowledged the mixed reactions and expressed remorse for any pain his comments may have caused those close to him.
