Management and staff of The Trumpet Newspaper have congratulated Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas following his conferment with the revered traditional title of Olodi of Aviara Kingdom in Delta State.
The honour was conferred by the Ovie of Aviara Kingdom, Michael Efeareduo Ebobo, during a grand ceremony at the royal palace in Aviara. The occasion drew an array of traditional rulers, political figures, and key stakeholders from across Delta South and neighbouring areas.

He added that the title reflects the kingdom’s pride in one of its distinguished sons and reinforces the deep bond between the senator and the Aviara community.
