President Donald Trump has been vocal about his discontent with successful black individuals in America, recently targeting Gayle King.
On Monday night, he took to Truth Social to express his disdain for the “CBS Mornings” co-host, stating, “Gayle King’s career is over. She should have remained loyal to TRUMP. She never had the courage to do so.”
Trump’s remarks were prompted by a New York Post article suggesting that King’s future at CBS is uncertain due to low ratings and labeling the show as overly “woke.”
Gayle isn’t the only CBS personality Trump has criticized; he also went after Stephen Colbert, which some say contributed to the cancellation of Colbert’s show.

Trump attributed the show’s demise to Colbert’s lack of talent and high production costs.
It’s worth noting that Trump’s FCC recently approved a significant merger between Skydance and Paramount, and many speculate that this approval came after Colbert’s show was cut.
Beyond CBS, Trump has also set his sights on late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, indicating they might be next.
For now, Gayle remains on the air, but with Trump targeting her, her future could be uncertain.
