US President Donald Trump addresses the nation, alongside US Vice President JD Vance (L), US Secretary of State Marco Rubio (2nd R) and US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth (R), from the White House in Washington, DC on June 21, 2025, following the announcement that the US bombed nuclear sites in Iran. President Donald Trump said June 21, 2025 the US military has carried out a "very successful attack" on three Iranian nuclear sites, including the underground uranium enrichment facility at Fordo. "We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform. President Donald Trump has confirmed that the U.S. have conducted an airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites, warning of further attacks if Iran does not agree to negotiations.

In a national address, President Trump issued an ultimatum to Iranian leaders: make peace or face repercussions.

He spoke around 7 pm PT, shortly after announcing on Truth Social that the military had successfully targeted three nuclear facilities in Iran.

Accompanied by Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Trump praised the military for the successful operation, stating that the uranium enrichment facilities were “completely and totally obliterated.”

He expressed his expectation for Iran to negotiate, threatening additional strikes if they resist.

Trump indicated that future actions would be even more straightforward following this successful attack.

He also congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, highlighting the collaboration between the two nations.

Trump concluded his remarks by expressing blessings for the Middle East, Israel, and America.

It is important to note that Iranian state media has reported that the country has no intention of backing down, making further strikes a distinct possibility.

Trump disclosed that a full payload of bombs was dropped on the nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, the latter of which he spelled as “Esfahan.” He praised the “great American Warriors” for their success while paradoxically calling for peace.

Last week, Israel conducted a surprise attack on Iran, which was met with retaliatory missile strikes from Iran.

Reports indicate that over 400 civilians have died and 3,500 have been injured due to the devastation.

Although Trump had previously stated he would wait up to two weeks before taking further action in the Israel-Iran conflict, the deployment of B-2 bombers on Saturday suggested that an attack might be forthcoming.

These bombers reportedly used “bunker buster” bombs, marking a first in U.S. military history.

Despite now advocating for peace, Trump had previously engaged in saber rattling, claiming the U.S. military knew the location of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and could easily eliminate him.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran has created divisions among MAGA supporters, highlighted by Tucker Carlson’s controversial interview with Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
