The community of Taraba State University is in deep mourning following the shocking discovery of the lifeless body of a 100-level female student in the Bakasi area of Jalingo.
The deceased, identified as Comfort Jimtop Oliver, was a first-year Mass Communication student, who hailed from Takum Local Government Area.
Comfort’s body was discovered around 2 p.m. in an apartment belonging to Emmanuel, who is reported to be her boyfriend.
Eyewitnesses indicated that the atmosphere in the vicinity was tense and filled with sorrow as the news spread rapidly among students and residents.
According to a statement from the Taraba State Police Command, through ASP James Saminu, several items were recovered from the scene, including a bottle containing an unidentified chemical substance and a used condom.
