The Chief Executive Officer of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, (aka Tompolo) has condoled with President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian military on the death of the Chief of Army Staff, late Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja.
In a statement made available to journalists on Friday in Warri, Tompolo expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident.
Tompolo, who acknowledged the contributions of the late general to the internal security of the country as well as external aggressions, noted the support and cooperation of the late army chief in the security of oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region.
He said the late chief of army staff would forever remain in the minds of many, including industry players.
The statement added: “I condole with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Tinubu, the Nigerian military, the Nigerian Army and the family of the Chief of Army Staff, late Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja.

“We are indeed touched in this sad story of the demised of our beloved general, who contributed so much to the security of the country and external aggressions.
“His support and cooperation in the security of oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region is known to industry players and so many persons.
“We missed him. May the good Lord give President Bola Tinubu, the Nigerian military, the Nigerian Army and the family the strength and fortitude to bear the lost.”
The late general died on November 5 after a brief period of illness at the age of 56.
