President Bola Tinubu is set to visit Kaduna State today to inaugurate major projects completed by Governor Uba Sani’s administration. This visit is part of the celebrations for Sani’s two years in office.
Among the projects being inaugurated is a new 300-bed specialist hospital located in Millennium City, which aims to improve healthcare services for residents.
Tinubu will also open the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development in Rigachikun, as well as various road projects in Soba and Samaru Kataf local government areas.
Additionally, a 24-kilometre stretch of road in Kafanchan will be unveiled, along with the Tudun Biri Road and a road connecting Kauru and Kubau local government areas. Another highlight is the Vocational and Skills Training Centre in Tudun Biri.
Furthermore, the president will introduce a fleet of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to enhance the public transportation system in the state.

These projects reflect the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure, healthcare, empowering young people, and boosting the economy. The state government views this visit as a key moment for the people of Kaduna and an opportunity to showcase their progress in governance.
Governor Sani, who recently marked his second year in office, has focused on improving education, rural infrastructure, and job creation since he took over in 2023.
Originally, Tinubu was scheduled to visit Kaduna on Wednesday, but he postponed it to Thursday due to recent violence in Benue State.
On Wednesday, he traveled to Benue to offer condolences to the victims and to assess the ongoing humanitarian crisis. During this visit, Tinubu engaged with local leaders and community members to discuss ways to foster peace and address the violence in the area.
