Tinubu stressed that effective governance must be firmly rooted in the needs and aspirations of the populace, noting that democracy flourishes when leaders implement policies that tangibly improve living standards.

“Governance is not merely about holding political office; it is about service and measurable impact,” the President stated.

“The only profitable investment in democracy is investment in the people.”

He urged governors to sustain momentum in stimulating economic growth, expanding infrastructure, strengthening healthcare systems, reforming education, and broadening social protection initiatives.

Tinubu also underscored the need for closer collaboration between federal and state governments to ensure development projects reach grassroots communities.

Commending Gov. Fintiri’s performance, the president described him as “a true reflection of who we are as a united people,” and encouraged residents to continue supporting their elected leaders to enable them fulfill their mandates.

Tinubu expressed confidence in the state’s trajectory, saying he sees hope in the faces of Adamawa residents and reiterating his call for leaders at all levels to carry the people along in governance.

The governor revealed that 5,000 teachers had been recruited to enhance the education sector and support newly established schools.

He added that his administration is making significant strides in addressing water scarcity across the state and announced plans to name the new NYSC orientation camp after Tinubu.
