Popular TikTok influencer Otweytwey has sparked online reactions by sharing insights about her marriage following her split from Afrobeat singer C-Nero.
In a recent interview shared on X (formerly Twitter), the social media star opened up about her past marriage, revealing that many were unaware of the true circumstances surrounding the wedding.
She stated that “I funded my wedding. I covered all the expenses, right down to the ring. I essentially married myself.”
Otweytwey explained that she took care of nearly all the financial details of the ceremony, including the wedding arrangements and the ring used in the event.

She also mentioned that she even withdrew money for her husband to use during the celebration, to avoid it seeming odd for her to be the only one giving him money.
“I even took out cash for him to spray that day. It would have been strange if I were the only one doing it, so I made sure he had money too. I paid for everything,” she added.
Earlier this year, the mother of one announced her separation from her husband of two years, citing incompatibility but expressing a willingness to co-parent.
