The 17th edition of The Headies Awards lit up Lagos on April 27, 2025, as some of Nigeria’s top music stars gathered at the Landmark Events Centre to celebrate the best in the industry.
Hosted by actress Nancy Isime, the night was a thrilling experience. Chike’s song ‘Egwu’ took home two awards, including the Viewers Choice Awards of the Year and Best Music Video. The late Mohbad, who was featured in Chike’s song, won the Best Street-Hop Artist award for his 2023 hit ‘Ask About Me.’ Rema’s album ‘Heis’ was named Album of the Year.
The event was filled with excitement, showcasing lively performances and emotional tributes, all to honor the artists who made a significant impact on music over the past year.
