The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says it will conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on its 132kV Ughelli/Effurun transmission line on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

During the maintenance period, the TCN disclosed that the Delta transmission sub-station will be temporarily shut down, resulting in a disruption of bulk electricity supply from this sub-station to the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC).

“Consequently, the BEDC will not be able to distribute electricity to its customers in Ughelli, Effurun, Warri, and surrounding areas for the three-hour duration.
“TCN apologizes for any inconvenience this brief power interruption may cause and appreciates the understanding of its customers as it works to further improve service quality,” it added.
