Senior civil servants have elected new executives with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of the Taraba state chapter of the National President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN).
Their emergence was at the 5th Quadrennial Delegates Conference, held in Jalingo, the state capital which saw the election of Comrade Paulina Ishaya Gani, as the state Chairperson.
Speaking before the election, the nation President of the union, Comrade Shehu Muhammad, urged union members to prioritize the election of credible and dedicated leaders who are committed to promoting the rights and welfare of workers.
Muhammad who spoke through the National Vice President, Comrade Onjeh Enewa, expressed optimism about the union’s future. “The sky will be their limit if credible leaders are brought on board,” he remarked.

In her welcome address, outgoing Chairperson and now re-elected leader, Comrade Paulina Ishaya Gani, thanked the national leadership for their support.
She reaffirmed her commitment to championing the interests of union members. “We will continue to fight for the welfare of our members and uphold the ideals of our great union,” she pledged.
Other newly elected members of the executive are Comrade Isaac Makong, Comrade Hauwa Garbabi,Comrade Jonathan Ayuba, Comrade Mary Inuwa, and Comrade Foma Danasabe.
